BRIGHT RAYS DONATED SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO CHILDREN IN RURAL SCHOOL

Bright Rays volunteers donated school supplies to excited school kids from Thuvakka Palli, Kadanthethy, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. Our donations supported 32 children and motivated them to work harder! This school is in a small village, 90 miles from Tiruchirappalli and the only primary school in the village.

BRIGHT RAYS DONATED SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO RURAL SCHOOL CHILDREN!

Bright Rays volunteers donated school supplies to this school at Vaideeswaran Kovil, Amman Sannidhi Street, Nagai District, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a primary school in a poor rural area for kids up to 5th grade. School supplies were given to 100 children in LKG (playschool), UKG (kindergarten), first and second grades. The children were very happy to receive these gifts and also spend time with our volunteers!

BRIGHT RAYS DONATED WATER BOTTLES AND BOOKS TO REMOTE VILLAGE SCHOOL

Bright Rays visited the Panchayat Union School, Nagapattinam District, Talainayar Union, Vadugoor Panchayat, Tamil Nadu. This school is located in a village called Vadagoor. The village has a population of over two thousand people, and all the children in this school are from needy backgrounds
Bright Rays donated water bottles and textbooks to the students of grades 1 through 5. The students creatively wrote their grade and a message for Bright Rays in the board behind them.
Bright Rays volunteers enjoyed spending the day at this school and we feel very fortunate to be able to support schools like this!

BRIGHT RAYS DONATED CHAIRS TO RURAL SCHOOL

Bright Rays donated 50 chairs to Annai Primary Nursery school. This school is in a remote village in Tamil Nadu. The meager funds available to the school are barely enough to cover the basic necessities and the school could not afford chairs, therefore the children had to sit on the floor.
The staff and children were extremely happy to receive the chairs. This donation has made a huge difference to the infrastructure of this school. At Bright Rays, we believe in #givingwithaconnection and #meaningfulgiving. This translates to connecting with the underprivileged and identifying their needs to support them effectively. We also spend time with them to emotionally support them.
